The Spinning Wheel is the first step of the cloth chain and the simplest station in the game. Three recipes, all level 0, all one minute, and all of them one in, one out:

- 1 wool → 1 plain wool string — wool comes off your sheep with a pair of shears - 1 cotton → 1 plain cotton string — cotton comes off the fields - 1 flax fiber → 1 linen string — and the fiber is woven from flax at the Basketweaving Station

It belongs to the seamstress, who banks the recipes and earns crafting experience; anyone else can spin, but one at a time and by hand each time.

Everything here goes straight to the Loom, which weaves ten strings and a pattern into a bolt of cloth — and satin needs two kinds at once, five linen and five silk. Plain string needs no dye. For coloured cloth the wool and cotton are dyed first, which is a herbalist making the dye and a seamstress applying it at the Dye Tank.

Nothing spun here has a collection deadline, so spin ahead. The loom will always want more than you have.
