Plough it, seed it, water it, wait seven days, then harvest it 1 time. Ploughing needs a plough and 50 energy, seeding needs a seed bag, watering needs a clay jar — the jar, not the pot — and harvesting needs a sickle and a harvest bag.
Whatever you seed is what you reap: wheat, barley, oats, corn, seed potato, rye, millet, sorghum, buckwheat, spelt, soybean, cotton, flax, sugarcane or agave. Each harvest returns a randomised amount and can hand back some seed.
Every stage pays 10 Farmer crafting experience. The working range is 5 metres, so it suits a small garden plot rather than an open field.
Anyone with a sickle can harvest a field, including one that is not theirs. Theft is part of the roleplay — be there when it ripens.
