Watch it work

The product tutorial, start to finish.

The research table is where every weapon in the colony begins. There is nothing to load and nothing to tend: left-click, agree to spend 100 CXP, and you join the queue. Seven days later you come back, click again, and collect a blueprint for one weapon part — a blade, a handle, a pommel, a guard.

You are never given a duplicate. It checks what you have already learned and draws from what is left, so the experience is never wasted.

Blueprints cannot be sold or traded. They are not market items. You learn one once and keep it permanently, which makes a well-researched smith genuinely hard to replace.

One table is one queue slot, so anyone researching seriously runs several. They also work for visitors — add yourself to a table on somebody else's region and come back for the result, which is a reason to put one where people will find it.

From here the chain runs to the Engineering Table, which turns the blueprint into a cast, then to the Forge & Anvil or the Carpentry Bench to make the part itself, and finally to the Weapon Crafting Table where the parts become a weapon.

The game database has no recipes mapped to this station yet, so there is nothing to list here automatically.

System recipes only. Recipes invented by players at open stations belong to the colonists who created them and are not listed.
