This is not an ordinary rental box. It charges SLC coin, or a currency you struck at a coin mint, and it will not charge Lindens at all — rent is money your tenants earned in the world and pay back into the world.
Rez it, let it register, then rez rental boxes from its menu rather than from its Contents; a box dragged out by hand is not linked to the server. Set a price per week, and tenants rent, add their own time, and can be evicted.
Tax is the part worth the money. Set a percentage, rez a sub server, and hand it to somebody else. They run their own rentals at their own prices on their own land, and every payment splits automatically — at 50%, a 10-coin rental sends 5 to them and 5 to you.
A capital city with three villages around it, each with a land baron holding a sub server, and the barons pay tax to the crown without anybody having to remember to.
