Add 1 pig, 1 barley, 1 corn, 1 oats, 1 wheat and 5 water, and in 14 days you take out two pigs. Needs Farmer level 2 — below that you lose the lot, pig included — and pays 1000 crafting experience. You can run several at once if your sim can carry it.
A pig gives dung every hour, collected with a small basket, forever. Two dung in a compost bin makes one fertiliser in about three and a half hours, and a vegetable field wants ten per cycle. That makes the pig pen the first thing a vegetable farmer buys, not the last.
On slaughter it gives leather and a carcass for the butcher table.
