Where a storage chest solves one player running out of room, this solves a settlement sharing a stockpile: a communal granary, a shared armoury, a pool of building material the build team can use without asking first.
Fifty inventory slots, and a slot is a stack — so it holds far more than fifty things.
You choose who gets in. Add people one at a time by avatar UUID, or add a whole group by its group key, and remove either whenever you like. Check what is inside from My Storage on the website without walking back to it.
Most colonies end up with several, named for what they hold, and a building to put them in.
