Add 1 dairy cow, 2 barley, 2 corn, 1 oats, 1 wheat and 10 water, and in 14 days you take out two dairy cows. Needs Farmer level 2 — below that the craft fails and the ingredients are gone, cow included — and pays 1000 crafting experience.
A cow from the marketplace is a physical object, but the bull wants an inventory one. The crafting-experience store in the main store sells a dairy cow for CXP, and that arrives as an inventory item you can feed straight in. A rezzed cow gives milk with a clay pot every 6 hours, and leather and a carcass once, on slaughter.
Breeding happens inside a station rather than in the animals because twenty breedable cows is twenty scripts of lag. The cows on your land stay cheap objects. Anyone can collect a finished craft, so be there when it is due.
