Brambles work the way the berry bushes and fruit trees all do. Carry a small basket and the blackberries go into your inventory. Carry nothing and you eat one where it grows, which restores a little health and pushes back hunger and thirst — worth remembering on a long walk with an empty bag.
The bush empties as it is picked and comes back by itself. Blackberries are a cooking ingredient, and they press two-for-one into blackberry juice at the wine press, level zero. Like every fruit juice it is a drink rather than a step toward wine.
Owner controls are the standard set on a long left click: rename it, set it to public, colony, group or owner only, turn the hover text on or off, and place spawn points so it moves around your land as it is worked.
